Just in time for patio season, Chef Tabatha Stahl visited Global Noon to share her food and drink tips for outdoor entertaining and prepare Railtown Cafe’s signature Salmon Salad, featuring farmer’s market field greens, tomatoes, fennel, broccolini, oranges, olives and a citrus vinaigrette.

Just in time for the warmer weather, we’ve added three new signature salads to our cafe menu! The Ancient Grain, The Kale and The Spinach are each topped with fresh, seasonal veggies, hearty grains and artisanal made-in-house dressings.
The Ancient Grain
Red kale, organic blue barley, farro, cucumber, tomato, radish, feta, crispy spiced chickpeas and tzatziki dressing.
Baby spinach, buckwheat, asparagus, tomato, chopped egg, mushroom, crispy onions, goats cheese, salt pork, red wine and Dijon vinaigrette.
Baby kale, honey roasted carrots, fresh garbanzo beans, shaved fennel, peas, oranges, almonds, lemon, olive oil and mint.

It’s official — the Railtown Cafe family has expanded again with the opening of our third location at 1691 Main Street in Vancouver’s Olympic Village neighbourhood.
Open throughout the week from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends, our newest counter-service cafe offers the same fresh menu of made-to-order gourmet sandwiches and soups, as well as an unparalleled build-your-own salad bar. You can also expect to find scratch-baked pastries and desserts, artisanal ice cream, locally roasted coffee, cold-pressed juices and a selection of local craft beer, wine and spirits.
